That Was Then but This Is Now

One year ago today

this is how we celebrated my Dad’s 100th birthday:

This year it will be more low key. The day after Dad turned 100 I looked at him and asked, “Now what?” Dad said, “We’ll do this again next year!”

Suddenly it’s next year. I’m looking at my laptop clock and it says Sat 12:01 AM. Dad is officially 101 years old. His party begins in 17 hours. It will be more low key. It will be in our home. And it’s a lot less work. But it’s gonna be greaaaaat! (to quote the well-respected Tigger). Can’t wait!

More to follow late tomorrow night.
